My husband was turning 50  and I had to think of something fun and energetic to celebrate this milestone birthday.  Then I remembered my sister often raved about her latin funk dance classes at the Kits Community Centre with Gustavo.  Many times she invited me to drop in and join the fun and I did take her up on the offer once...and it became obvious why she loved signing up for Gustavo's classes multiple times.   SO...we contacted Gustavo and fortunately for us, he was available on the day we needed him.  He arrived 15 minutes ahead of time as promised and brought along his music.  When we gave him the signal to start the dance, he took over, put on the latin music and invited everyone (kids and adults) to join in on the dance lesson.  He's totally comfortable and humourous, putting the group at ease.  He has a great presence, passion and energy.  He taught us the correct moves and the "wrong" moves and had us all laughing and giggling.  His humour and charm persuaded even the shyest participants to step into the centre of the group to shake their booties and shimmy their shoulders!  The party was a total success and our friends STILL tell us they had a blast at our party.   Recently, one of our friends from the party contacted Gustavo for his professional and dynamic dance instruction for a company function.   If you want guaranteed fun for a group of all ages, I would highly recommend Gustavo!!   Cheers Gustavo.  We hope you keep up with your passion!
